This portfolio

Making a portfolio is always hard. Lots of decisions, almost none with a right answer, and few outsiders to tell you whether you’re on track. I got lucky: designers fighting the same battle looked at the drafts and pointed out what wasn’t working. This site got better because of them.

What’s behind it

Before any screen, I researched portfolios, assessed my tone of voice and defined my value proposition. Then came tests, choices and a visual identity. The same process I use with clients.

The difference is that, this time, the client was me.

How it stays online

It started as an HTML prototype, a single file. The final version is built in Next.js, runs in a Docker container and is hosted on a PC in São Paulo, the same one that runs the Minecraft server.
